Accommodation
These terms and conditions apply to all accommodation made available by City View Motel. By making a booking for accommodation, you warrant that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them subject to such changes as are notified to you from time to time. General Terms
City View Motel will endeavour to provide the accommodation but reserves the right to refuse requests for bookings or actual bookings due to insufficient or excessive numbers of requests. All accommodation is subject to availability.
Booking Policy
All accommodation bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by provision of a valid credit card. In some cases, depending on the rate type, we might take pre-payment. By providing credit card details you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise City View Motel to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the case of cancellation or no show penalties as detailed below.
The liability of City View Motel arising from any cancellations of accommodation bookings by City View Motel is limited to the amount paid for the cancelled booking.
All discounted rates booked over the internet are chargeable at time of booking and are non- refundable.

Pre-paid reservations
Pre-paid reservations are non-refundable and cannot be altered in any way. In some circumstances you may be able to move dates or a portion of the amount paid may be refunded at the discretion of Management.

Cancellation & No Show policy
No refunds will be made for a cancelled booking and will therefore attract a 100% cancellation charge at any given time
No-Show attracts the full amount charged and is non-refundable.
No refunds will be made for booking cancelled over the 20th December to 10th January and other seasonal periods such as public holidays or special events including but not limited to sport events / special entertainment events in Hobart or surrounds. Reservations can be cancelled, but full payment will be taken.
A security deposit may also be charged at time of booking and is non-refundable upon cancellation.

Group Cancellation policy
A reservation is classified as a group (regardless where the booking comes from be it direct or via internet) if you book 2 or more rooms within one booking it will be classified as a group.
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit if booking is exceeds two days or one nights deposit whatever is the greater amount at time of booking. The remainder is due 28 days prior to arrival. All group booking payments are non-refundable regardless of time or lenths of stay.

Accommodation – Extra Guest and Child Policy
Rates are per room per night based on two person occupancy. Extra guests are charged $35.00 per person per night, room only one cot per room is available at $15.00, subject to availability.
